Under the direction of the City Manager, performs a wide variety of responsible, confidential, and complex administrative, technical, and secretarial duties for those in the City Manager’s Office; acts as a liaison with City departments, staff, outside agencies, and the public; and supports the efficient operation of the City Manager’s office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Administrative support to the City Manager and Executive staff;  
• Handle sensitive and privileged material;
• Maintain the confidentiality of such material;
• Interact with the public, outside agencies, and City staff at all levels and on a variety of issues;
• Coordinate internal and external meetings as necessary;
• Coordinate travel to conferences and meetings;

                           MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Training:

• Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by specialized secretarial training. College-level coursework in business administration, computer science, or a related field is desirable.

Experience:

• Four years of increasingly responsible administrative and secretarial experience. Previous experience supporting C-level Executives preferred.

• Salary Range from $7,127.47 to $9,136.40 monthly with Excellent Benefits
  • 3% Cost of Living Adjustment increase effective 7/3/26

Education/Training:

• Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in public administration, business administration or a related field.

Experience:

• Three years of increasingly responsible professional analytical and administrative experience related to assigned area.
