WORK SCHEDULE:

The District observes a 4/10 work schedule, Monday–Thursday, 10-hour days. The regular work schedule for this position is 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

POSITION DESCRIPTION, DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS, AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Under immediate supervision, the Customer Service Technician performs a variety of customer service and billing support duties, including processing payments, maintaining customer accounts, responding to billing inquiries, and coordinating service orders. The position also provides administrative support to an assigned supervisor and performs related work as required.

This is the entry-level class in the Customer Service series. Employees in this class typically have little or no directly related work experience but demonstrate the ability to perform the full scope of duties and meet performance standards. Incumbents work under close supervision while learning job tasks, progressing to general supervision as procedures and processes are learned.

• Two (2) years of responsible experience similar to Customer Service Technician is desirable

• Equivalent to completion of the twelfth (12th) grade supplemented by coursework in business or accounting is desirable

• Valid California Class C Driver’s License may be required. A satisfactory driving record is required.

THE POSITION

Tri-City is currently hiring to fill one part-time vacancy for the position of Peer Support Specialist II within the Adult Outpatient (AOP) Department. This position provides peer to peer support services in the office and/or in the field including, but not limited to outreach, support, encouragement, guidance, advocacy, and referrals to external resources and services for clients and their families; builds rapport with clients and their families through sharing stories of lived experience and recovery.

This position is responsible for a variety of ongoing responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Provides resources and referrals to address basic needs and other barriers to wellness and recovery including food, housing, clothing, transportation, and other financial resources.

• Assists clients and families to understand behavioral health problems and steps to recovery.

• Performs related duties as required.

The Legislative and Regulatory Manager is responsible for organizing, assigning, reviewing and participating in the performance of a wide range of professional duties related to Pioneer Community Energy regulatory and legislative matters, with particular emphasis on representation of Pioneer’s interests at the California Public Utilities; develops Pioneer’s positions on complex issues; and develops analyses, written reports, and presentation materials to support Pioneer’s position. Duties include:

• Planning, prioritizing, and reviewing the performance of professional staff involved in the research and analysis of legislation and regulatory issues.

THE POSITION

Tri-City Mental Health Authority is currently hiring to fill two (2) full-time vacancies for the position of Peer Support Specialist I/II (PSS) within the Mobile Crisis Care Program (MCCP). Tri-City’s MCCP is a 24/7 mobile crisis response team with shifts that may include evenings, weekends, daytime hours, and holidays. The MCCP Peer Support Specialist will report to the Mobile Crisis Care Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Program Manager.

• Respond to client's (Full-Service Partnership and Adult and Children’s Outpatient Programs & other specialty mental health services) crisis calls with or without law enforcement;

• Perform field-based & telephone emergency mental health evaluations & crisis stabilization in accordance with agency procedure;

• Identify treatment needs & make appropriate referrals for necessary services;
