The Guest Service Team Member is responsible for providing the highest quality of guest service to all guests. The Guest Service Team Member is expected to work weekends and holidays on a regular basis.

• Provide outstanding guest service while performing assigned duties, including interpreting and conveying information throughout the Park
• Complete all daily opening and closing tasks in a timely manner

AC Transit is seeking a Finance Systems Project Manager. Under general direction serves as the project manager leading a variety of complex, finance systems-related projects. This position works with department end-users, Innovation and Technology (IT) staff, consultants and, vendors to translate business and operational requirements into workable finance system solutions. Incumbents in this position provide training and technical assistance in the use of the system software.

This classification is distinguished from other finance classifications by the assigned project management responsibilities leading District-wide, finance systems-related projects and studies of considerable size and complexity. Incumbents at this level are expected to operate with a high degree of professional judgment and independence, providing technical and functional direction to vendors, professional, technical, and contract staff.

REPRESENTATIVE FUNCTIONS:
REPRESENTATIVE FUNCTIONS may include but are not limited to the following:
Assumes responsibility within the finance department for enterprise systems, activities, and operations, including system architecture, applications support, data security and integrity, network and system integration, disaster recovery, and application/user support. Participates in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities; recommends and implements resulting policies and procedures.

Coordinates between department end-users, IT staff, consultants, and vendors in researching, analyzing, designing, configuring, testing and maintaining finance systems; coordinates with managers and staff of other divisions/departments to define business system requirements.

May participate in the selection of assigned personnel; manages, develops, and trains assigned staff; sets goals for team members; ensures results of work performed; works with employees to correct deficiencies; initiates and implements the grievance and/or disciplinary processes and termination procedures, when appropriate.

Develops and implements a set of business systems analysis standards including processes, project tracking, success metrics, incident management procedures, and system analysis; performs more complex system analysis in relation to business needs and user requirements.
Assists and acts in a confidential capacity providing financial, payroll, and business data/information to District staff who formulate, determine management policies with regard to labor relations, negotiations, and collective bargaining policies.

Oversees the development and delivery of training for end-users, including identifying training needs and determining training methods; plans and oversees change management communications and methods; coordinates departmental implementation of enterprise finance system updates and upgrades.
Analyzes current and future enterprise finance system needs; prioritizes, manages, and oversees system updates and enhancements; develops requests for proposals, selects vendors, and administers contracts; acts as final approver in the change control process. Evaluates system issues and conditions for risk; develops contingency plans to cover various finance systems failure scenarios and application software systems recovery and restoration procedures.

Analyzes testing criteria and results to support development, evaluation, and configuration of existing and new systems.

Works with IT staff on the development and implementation of finance systems security protocols, including policies and procedures on security, disaster recovery, standards, and best practices.
Oversees the finance software and hardware acquisition and procurement process; develops cost estimates for hardware and software components, connectivity solutions, system integrations, and ongoing support, maintenance, and training for assigned systems and databases.

Serves as staff on a variety of committees; consults with District staff and consultants concerning information technology, finance system issues, work progress, and priorities; coordinates and runs periodic meetings; ensures adherence to standards and procedures; presents recommendations for strategic initiatives, long range planning, and process improvements.

Performs project management functions and activities and is responsible for the full lifecycle of the assigned projects overseeing scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards from the project’s inception to completion; manages the activities of outside vendors and contractors.

Provides consultation and professional, technical advice to executive staff, management teams, and other District departments; represents the Department on various external committees and projects.
Prepares and presents a variety of reports on finance operations, activities, and special projects; presents findings to the Board of Directors, executive management, other District staff, and various public and private entities.

Evaluates and recommends professional consulting services for assigned projects; develops and disseminates Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Qualifications (RFQs), and Invitation For Bids (IFBs) and develops proposal evaluation criteria; assists in the negotiation, preparation, and administration of professional services and contracts; recommends and prepares amendments to professional services contracts.

Prepares, reviews, and maintains a variety of project-related information and documentation, including project schedules, Statements of Work (SOWs), status reports, detailing issues, risks, and deliverables; monitors agreements and projects for compliance with relevant codes, ordinances, rules, and regulations.
Attends and participates in professional group meetings and committees; stays abreast of new trends and innovations in the field of project management and market research. Provides technical and functional direction to professional, technical, and contract staff and participates in the formation, planning, review, and management of assigned projects.

Performs related duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a field directly related to the area to which assigned.
For the Finance Systems Project Manager position the following are applicable fields of study: business administration, public administration, accounting, finance, management information systems, or a related field.

Experience: Eight (8) years of experience in the professional field required by the assigned special projects. The Finance Systems Project Manager position requires accounting support experience utilizing and supporting financial systems and/or two (2) years that involved responsibilities at a level equivalent to the District's classification of Project Manager II. Years of experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a two for one basis (two years experience may be submitted for one year of education).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Physical Requirements: Must maintain the physical condition necessary to perform tasks in an office setting operating a computer, keyboard, and other peripheral equipment; safely drive a District automobile; and walk, stand, and climb short distances in construction settings in order to inspect the progress of assigned projects.

Role description

Under general supervision, assists in analyzing, planning, implementing, maintaining, troubleshooting and enhancing large complex systems or networks consisting of a combination that may include mainframes, mini-computers, personal computers, mobile devices, LANS, WANs, servers, data storage and the physical and logical components that integrate these systems together as an enterprise networking backbone. 

The 1042 Security Engineer is the journey level position in the Engineer series. The class is distinguished from the Senior level by the complexity of the tasks, projects or duties assigned, and is more independent than the Assistant level. This classification performs a wide range of complex analytical, design, planning, implementation, enhancement and problem resolution tasks on large complex systems and networks. Works within a framework of established procedures and interprets policies, procedures and guidelines. This level may formulate recommendations consistent with directives, policies, standards and regulations. Incumbents require only occasional instruction or assistance. Work is reviewed upon completion and for overall results. Serves as a technical architect and systems integrator for large complex systems or networks, with a focus on securing vulnerabilities and reducing risk of system and/or asset compromises.

Essential Duties:
 

1. Determine requirements for the development environment and / or enhancement for large complex systems that serve HSA’s programs. May research and conduct feasibility studies on new technologies.
2. Design, plan, integrate, test, implement, document and enhance large complex systems. This may involve the analysis, coding (.NET C#, Cold Fusion), web application design, database design, and evaluation of systems software, hardware and communications strategies.
3. Perform systems integration for interoperability over dissimilar platforms and technologies. This may involve the integration of various protocols and systems software.
4. Determine the proper installation parameters for software for smooth integration and efficiency in relation to the enterprise system and network.
5. Write code to customize large systems software which may involve specialized programming languages.
6. Read and understand requirements documentation and other documentation in order to write code to implement the required features for application systems.
7. Analyze, detect, identify and correct complex systems software or hardware deficiencies. Analyze, research and debug program logic and systems; modify program logic; analyze service requests for system changes or new requirements to determine the most effective approach and the appropriate staff time required to achieve the needed modification.
8. Provide emergency technical support for application issues to ensure system availability and data integrity. May provide on-call support to ensure rapid recovery from software or hardware problems for mission-critical systems and networks.
9. Act as the liaison between vendors, technical support hot-lines and departments to resolve complex systems. Coordinate and implement corrective measures; this may involve site visits, telephone assistance, remote systems and participation in technical committees.
10. Facilitate the demonstration and training of staff in the use of new hardware or software products.
11. Document procedures and troubleshooting techniques related to systems software and hardware; develop technical documentation and review documentation prior to general distribution.
12. Plan, develop and implement backup and recovery procedures for large systems.
13. Communicate with managers regarding system performance and operational issues. Suggest improvements to management.
14. Research and test new software technologies; report results; recommend software purchases. Learn and implement the new technologies that are brought in. Coordinate and work with vendors when needed. 
15. Attend meetings, workshops, and demonstrations; perform duties and responsibilities as assigned.

The Waterpark Deck Crew provides custodial maintenance and supervision of the Waterpark before, during, and after Waterpark operations. Work hours may vary but will often be mornings, weekends, weekdays, and holidays.

• Supervision of facility cleanliness
• Maintenance and cleaning of Waterpark restrooms, buildings, and structures.
• Power washing, and pool deck hosing
• Sweeping pool deck
• Trash pickup and changing of trash can liners, upkeep of trash receptacles
• Emptying and cleaning of pool skimmer baskets
• Light lifting and moving of equipment
• Prep Waterpark to open to the public, assist during operations, and complete closing duties
• Follow & Implement Department policy
• Perform other duties as assigned

SUPERVISION EXERCISED AND RECEIVED

The Waterpark Leads/Coordinators/Full-Time Staff at the Waterpark provide general supervision

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be least 15 years old. One year or one summer work or volunteer experience is preferred
• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to work independently and reliably complete assigned tasks
• Ability to establish and maintain productive relations and positive attitude with others
• Must be comfortable in a team environment, and display good communication skills
• Ability to tactfully resolve guest/associate concerns

REQUIREMENTS FOR EMPLOYMENT

The Pool Tech is an hourly employee of the Parks & Recreation Department. The Pool Tech's primary responsibility is the maintenance of on-site recreation facilities at the Aqua Adventure Water Park and the safe operation of all rides. This responsibility includes water testing, writing reports, pool cleaning, general facility cleaning, public assistance and public education. The Pool Tech is expected to work evenings, weekends and holidays on a regular basis.

• Provide outstanding customer service while performing assigned duties, including interpreting and conveying information throughout the Waterpark
• Perform a variety of tasks in the operation, maintenance, cleaning and servicing of water at Aqua Adventure Waterpark

• Conduct pool inspections to ensure the pool environment is safe for general use
• Treat water with chemicals to maintain safe and healthy water quality and monitor chemical usage
• Performing water tests for chlorine, Ph, calcium hardness and total alkalinity
• Receive chemical deliveries
• Recognize hazardous conditions, emergency notification and contain area until help arrives
• Pool cleaning
• Facility cleaning to ensure the deck is free of debris, clearing garbage and doing bathroom checks
• Maintain facility and make repairs as needed

The Swim Lesson Instructor is responsible for instructing, supervising, and testing all swim lesson participants to the best of his/her ability. The Swim Lesson Instructor is expected to work mornings, evenings and weekends on a regular basis. Instructors are not required to have any teaching certifications, but are expected to teach the standard set in place by the City of Fremont.

• Submit appropriate documentation to Supervisor in a timely manner
• Demonstrate skills required for class content, utilizing teaching aids (kick boards, diving rings, etc)

• Comply with standards of City designated safety agencies
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality in performing all aspects of assigned responsibilities

The position is supervised by the Swim Lesson Lead and Swim Lesson Coordinator.

• At least 16 years of age
• Possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral

• Willingness to work mornings, nights, and weekends as required
