The Guest Service Team Member is responsible for providing the highest quality of guest service to all guests. The Guest Service Team Member is expected to work weekends and holidays on a regular basis.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES (This is a general description of duties and is not all-inclusive)

• Provide outstanding guest service while performing assigned duties, including interpreting and conveying information throughout the Park
• Complete all daily opening and closing tasks in a timely manner
• Assist in protecting and safeguarding all property assets
• Complete all point of sale transactions accurately and in a timely manner
• Accurately count til amounts at the beginning and end of each shift
• Report transactions accurately including cash, coupon, credit card and complimentary sales
• Assist in preparing food and guest orders
• Resolve guest or associate concerns tactfully and as needed
• Assist with Park and Waterpark events as directed
• Monitor entrance and exit of guests at admission gates and accurately record hourly admission counts from each turnstile while directing a large amount of guests through turnstiles
• Process season pass holders accurately and in a timely manner
• Perform all other duties as assigned

SUPERVISION EXERCISED AND RECIEVED

The position is supervised by the Guest Service Lead and the Food Service/Catering Coordinator

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be a minimum of fifteen (15) years of age
• Must have basic computer knowledge
• Must maintain positive and productive working relationships with others
• Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating / maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to multi-task
• Must be team player and partner with other team members in order to complete the assigned tasks
• Must complete the required Cashier Standard Operating Procedures training and pass the test
• Must be willing and able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required

Role description

Under general supervision, assists in analyzing, planning, implementing, maintaining, troubleshooting and enhancing large complex systems or networks consisting of a combination that may include mainframes, mini-computers, personal computers, mobile devices, LANS, WANs, servers, data storage and the physical and logical components that integrate these systems together as an enterprise networking backbone. 

The 1042 Security Engineer is the journey level position in the Engineer series. The class is distinguished from the Senior level by the complexity of the tasks, projects or duties assigned, and is more independent than the Assistant level. This classification performs a wide range of complex analytical, design, planning, implementation, enhancement and problem resolution tasks on large complex systems and networks. Works within a framework of established procedures and interprets policies, procedures and guidelines. This level may formulate recommendations consistent with directives, policies, standards and regulations. Incumbents require only occasional instruction or assistance. Work is reviewed upon completion and for overall results. Serves as a technical architect and systems integrator for large complex systems or networks, with a focus on securing vulnerabilities and reducing risk of system and/or asset compromises.

Essential Duties:
 

1. Determine requirements for the development environment and / or enhancement for large complex systems that serve HSA’s programs. May research and conduct feasibility studies on new technologies.
2. Design, plan, integrate, test, implement, document and enhance large complex systems. This may involve the analysis, coding (.NET C#, Cold Fusion), web application design, database design, and evaluation of systems software, hardware and communications strategies.
3. Perform systems integration for interoperability over dissimilar platforms and technologies. This may involve the integration of various protocols and systems software.
4. Determine the proper installation parameters for software for smooth integration and efficiency in relation to the enterprise system and network.
5. Write code to customize large systems software which may involve specialized programming languages.
6. Read and understand requirements documentation and other documentation in order to write code to implement the required features for application systems.
7. Analyze, detect, identify and correct complex systems software or hardware deficiencies. Analyze, research and debug program logic and systems; modify program logic; analyze service requests for system changes or new requirements to determine the most effective approach and the appropriate staff time required to achieve the needed modification.
8. Provide emergency technical support for application issues to ensure system availability and data integrity. May provide on-call support to ensure rapid recovery from software or hardware problems for mission-critical systems and networks.
9. Act as the liaison between vendors, technical support hot-lines and departments to resolve complex systems. Coordinate and implement corrective measures; this may involve site visits, telephone assistance, remote systems and participation in technical committees.
10. Facilitate the demonstration and training of staff in the use of new hardware or software products.
11. Document procedures and troubleshooting techniques related to systems software and hardware; develop technical documentation and review documentation prior to general distribution.
12. Plan, develop and implement backup and recovery procedures for large systems.
13. Communicate with managers regarding system performance and operational issues. Suggest improvements to management.
14. Research and test new software technologies; report results; recommend software purchases. Learn and implement the new technologies that are brought in. Coordinate and work with vendors when needed. 
15. Attend meetings, workshops, and demonstrations; perform duties and responsibilities as assigned.

The After School Instructor will plan, prepare, and instruct recreation activities (Instructor Aides will assist). Activities may include art, cooking, dance, STEM activities and other program areas. Programs are designed for children ages 4-12 years of age (school grades Transitional Kindergarten to 6th). Job site placement: Brier, Cabrillo, or Grimmer Elementary.

General supervision is provided by a Program Coordinator or Recreation Supervisor. The Instructor Lead may supervise an Instructor Aide.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• At least one year's experience working with children in an academic or recreation setting.
• Must be willing and able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

The Position:  Police Officers perform law enforcement and crime prevention work; control traffic flow and enforce state and local regulations; perform investigative work; participate in and provide support and assistance to special department crime prevention and enforcement programs and do related police work as assigned. Duties and hours will vary with assignments.

Under direct supervision, the Public Service Assistant II will perform litter/trash pick-up, barbeque maintenance, leaf/debris pick-up, and miscellaneous park duties in Central Park and other community parks.  The Public Service Assistant II will also perform related duties as assigned.
 
WORK SCHEDULE

The positions work up to a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week and may be required to work a regular shift that includes evening and weekend hours. These temporary assignments are limited to 999 hours per fiscal year (July 1 - June 30).

The Program Coordinator for is a unique position that is primarily responsible for planning and coordination of all aspects of the ASES funded After School Academy (ASA) program. ASA provides students in grades 1st through 6th a safe space for expanded learning. Every day students have the opportunity to make social connections, experience enriching activities, and receive academic assistance. Students socialize and connect with our team and their peers daily. ASA supports students every school day immediately after school until 6pm. Our goal is to improve student's social, emotional, and academic potential through community, education, recreation, and enrichment.

• Coordinate all aspects of a After School Academy program

• Experience assisting with implementation of children and/or youth programs and activities.

• Excellent organizational and supervisory skills, be resourceful, flexible and able to work both alone or as a team member
• Must be reliable and be able to provide transportation
• Available to work Monday through Friday, 12:00pm-6:00pm schedule.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree with teaching experience preferred
• Experience in implementation and programming of ASES grant funded programs
• Ability to frequently interpret and translate a language other than the English language among students, parents and school-based staff members

The Facility Attendant provides operational supervision of community centers during the absence of full-time staff. Work hours may vary but will often be evenings, weekends and occasionally weekdays.
