Accountant I/II/Senior – Temporary Position
$37.55 – $58.39/hour – DOE
To be considered for the Accountant II level classification, the candidate will have an Associate degree or higher (or equivalent) and a minimum of two years of increasingly responsible accounting experience.
The City of American Canyon, a growing Napa Valley community, is seeking an Accounting Manager to be responsible for providing professional accounting and public finance assistance to the City. Responsibilities will involve overseeing the Finance Department's auditing and reporting processes, payroll, investments and cash management, tax reporting, and other accounting requirements. This position reports to the Finance Director.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
Under the supervision of the Finance Manager, the Part-time Accounting Technician will perform a variety of paraprofessional accounting duties including general accounting, accounts receivable, revenue collections, accounts payable and purchase order processing, treasury assistance, business licensing, annual audit/budget support, account analysis, and related duties as assigned.

SCCHA is an independent local government agency that administers the federal Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) program for approximately 19,000 households and manages more than 2,000 units of affordable housing in Santa Clara County.
We are seeking a collaborative and proactive Revenue Operations Supervisor who will be responsible for the direction and supervision of the Revenue Operations functions in the Finance Department. The primary focus of this position will be to supervise, assign, review, and participate in the work of staff responsible for the City’s revenue operations including billing, collections, cashiering, and providing public services.
The salary range for this position is $90,729.60 - 116,209.60.
The actual salary shall be determined by the final candidate’s qualifications and experience. In addition to the starting salary, employees in the Senior Auditor classification shall also receive an approximate five percent (5%) ongoing non-pensionable compensation pay.
Appointed by and reporting to the City Manager, the City Clerk/Communications Coordinator directs, plans, organizes, and oversees all activities of the City Clerk and Communications Office, manages the effective use of resources to improve organizational productivity and customer service; and provides responsible and complex administrative support to the City Manager and City Council.
