THE POSITION

Tri-City Mental Health Authority is currently hiring to fill two (2) full-time vacancies for the position of Peer Support Specialist I/II (PSS) within the Mobile Crisis Care Program (MCCP). This position requires individuals to work on-site 5 days a week from 9:00am to 5:30pm, until training is successfully completed. Once fully trained, your schedule may adjust based on team needs and role requirements. 

Tri-City is looking for individuals to serve as a Peer Support Specialist I/II on a full-time basis for the MCCP. The MCCP Peer Support Specialist will be part of a team that provides crisis intervention and stabilization, linkage and referral, consultation, and education within the scope of practice. The MCCP Peer Support Specialist will report to the Mobile Crisis Care Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Program Manager.

This position is responsible for a variety of ongoing responsibilities, including, but not limited to:

• Respond to client's (Full-Service Partnership and Adult and Children’s Outpatient Programs & other specialty mental health services) crisis calls with or without law enforcement;

• Perform field-based & telephone emergency mental health evaluations & crisis stabilization in accordance with agency procedure;

• Provide crisis intervention & stabilization services to individuals, groups, and families;

• Identify treatment needs & make appropriate referrals for necessary services;

• Perform triage & linkages to non-client community members in the Tri-City catchment areas. Provides peer-to-peer support services in the office and/or in the field including, but not limited to outreach, support, encouragement, guidance, advocacy, & referrals to external resources & services for clients & their families; builds rapport with clients & their families through sharing stories of lived experience and recovery.

Position Summary

The District’s Engineering Department has an immediate opening for a paid Civil Engineering student intern. This internship program provides students with the opportunity to transition from college to the full-time workforce through hands-on training and knowledge sharing in both office and job site settings. Students can either work part-time or full-time depending on their class schedule. The Judicial Council of California is accepting applications for the position of Manager in Budget Services.

This position will provide direct management oversight for the Trial Court Budget Management section within the Budget Services office, which includes the Court Budget unit (CBU) and the Funds and Revenues unit (FRU). The CBU is responsible for administering allocations and reimbursements of approximately $3 billion annually to the 58 trial courts, and provides budgetary support for various trial court programs. The FRU carries out advanced budgetary, technical, and analytical responsibilities related to the administration of judicial branch funds, including backfill for the Ability to Pay program and oversight of statewide collections.

This position directs Judicial Council staff support for the Trial Court Budget Advisory Committee and its subcommittees, managing administrative functions within the Judicial Council committee process to ensure that funding included in the budget is allocated to the trial courts in a timely and proper manner.

This position also represents the Budget Services office and the Judicial Council in interactions with a wide range of partners and stakeholders, including the Judicial Council’s Executive Office and senior management, trial court leadership, county government departments, and state agencies such as the Department of Finance, the State Controller’s Office, and the Legislature. Position Summary

Under general supervision, the Ferry Mechanic performs preventative, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, trouble-shooting, repair, and modifications on structural, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, piping and control systems found on ferry vessels and passenger terminals; performs related work as assigned. Swing Shift:           $56.32 per hour + 10% differential pay

• Working with computers on a daily basis for work scheduling, work order entry and work order reporting on the Districts electronic maintenance system in addition to notifications and communications.
• Conducts tests, analyses and measurements as directed to diagnose any unusual, erratic or malfunctioning occurrence in any shipboard or terminal system or component.
• Reports any unusual wear patterns, noise, pressure, temperature, or changes in voltage, current, cycles, resistance or any other indication of potential malfunction.

The Legal Division provides a wide array of legal services to support the entire Air District, including handling enforcement cases; advising on the California Environmental Quality Act, AB617 Community Emission Reduction Plans, contracts, grants, and finance matters; developing regulatory language; supporting the permitting program; reviewing records under the Public Records Act; and staying abreast of current legal developments in air quality throughout California and nationwide.
