The City of Dixon is excited to announce the recruitment for the position of Transit Supervisor in the Transit Department. This individual will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating transportation operations if the City's transportation programs; coordinating with other governmental and transit agencies regarding intercity and intracity transportation programs; providing supervision to transit staff; and performing a variety of technical level tasks related to their assigned area of responsibility.

The Skywalker Fire Brigade Fire Chief (FC) position will supervise, lead, and train the Skywalker Fire Brigade (Department). This is a management position for 9 employees that staffs one private fire station and has the opportunity to build and direct a motivated staff of firefighters. The Fire Chief will oversee three duty Captains and their projects, providing guidance and leadership for the organization. The Fire Chief will oversee daily schedules with regard to standard prevention activities, training, and special events. Oversee fire prevention inspections, lead vegetation management projects including pile burning, shaded fuel breaks, and interact with the property insurance agent and facilities manager for future projects. The Chief will represent the Skywalker Fire Brigade during county-wide meetings for Operations and Training. Skywalker Fire employees provide an extraordinary level of customer service and hospitality to Skywalker Properties' clientele. While this role operates within a Brigade fire department, the position itself is mostly comprised of prevention and training. This is a great opportunity to train and develop individuals in a unique, private environment with a dedicated and passionate team to support our mission.

Skywalker Holdings has several locations. The Fire Brigade operates at The Skywalker Ranch in Marin County, Nicasio, CA. Skywalker is a private organization that operates 5,000 acres of wildland urban interface land with various types of infrastructure within it. At the Presidio (San Francisco, CA) there are numerous buildings that are also included in the prevention responsibilities. The Ranch operates numerous buildings, smaller organization and other operations within the that support the greater vision of Skywalker Properties Ltd.  

Schedule:

This position will work a semi-flexible 40hr work week as to oversee and manage 3 shifts who are on a 48/96 work schedule. Flexibility is determined by the President and subject to department need as well attending any critical meetings with leadership teams. Remote work hours may be included in the flexibility.

Although rare, there are times when the Chief might have to back-fill staffing and/or provide staffing on apparatus due to non-fillable vacancies or training needs.

Description 

Under the general direction from the Recreation Supervisor, the Recreation Specialist – Enrichment is responsible to act as a liaison to the Department’s flourishing enrichment (after school) program and ensure the smooth operation of programming for preschool and elementary aged classes both on and off-site. This includes the elementary-aged afterschool programs Supervised Play at Old Mill Elementary School and Center of Play at the Mill Valley Community Center. This position requires a high level of customer service, attention to detail, marketing prowess, evaluation and oversight of programs, independent contractors, and part-time staff, and the ability to build relationships throughout the community. The Recreation Specialist- Enrichment will assist other staff in the Youth and Teens Division for seasonal programs as needed. 

The ideal candidate will have significant experience working in elementary aged programs, ideally in a fast-paced and dynamic setting. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in early childhood education, recreation, or a related field with a minimum of two years of experience in delivering kindergarten, elementary and/or youth programming, etc. is preferred.

NOTE: This is a part-time, non-benefitted position for the Mill Valley Arts and Recreation Department.  

DEFINITION: Communicate with participants, families, instructors, staff and elementary school sites to coordinate class schedules, registrations, and program needs for the TK-5th grade After School Enrichment programs. Hours are approximately Monday-Friday, 12:30pm-5:30pm. 

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: 

• Facilitates recreation activities for specific age group: Transitional Kindergarten through 5th Grade. 

• Organizes, implements, directs, supervises and/or promotes specific programs and activities. 

• Processes program payments promptly and thoroughly. 

• Programs enrichment classes for each season (Fall/Winter/Spring/Summer).  

• Participates in the preparation and administration of assigned program budget. 

• Works with local School District, PTAs, and community groups in developing, promoting, and providing programs and activities. 

• Communicates clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. 

• Demonstrate excellent customer service and communicate effectively and professionally with schools, staff, parents, and children. 

• Monitors the day-to-day operations of the programs, including making site visits, handling and resolving complaints not requiring the attention of a supervisor and ensuring that programs and events have required materials, staff, and supplies. 

• Assists in the evaluation of programming including conducting customer satisfaction surveys and analyzing reports on program effectiveness. 

• Enforces safety and operating procedures and provides for maintenance needs including compliance with health and safety codes. 

• Creation and development of new programs, as needed. 

• Accurately maintain attendance records. 

• The ability to speak English clearly and understandably. 

• Perform related duties as required. 

• Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Must have ability to produce information in written form and operate office equipment (Computers, scanners, typewriters, calculators, printers, and copiers). It may be necessary to move objects weighing 20 lbs., such as mail, packages, merchandise inventory etc.

Tri-City is looking for individuals to serve as a Psychiatric Technician I/II (Licensed) on a full-time basis for the MCCP. The MCCP Psychiatric Technician will be part of a team that provides crisis intervention and stabilization, linkage and referral, consultation, and education within the scope of practice. The MCCP Psychiatric Technician will report to the Mobile Crisis Care Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Program Manager.

Tri-City’s MCCP operates 24/7 to provide crucial support in mobile crises. As such, the schedule will involve a 3/12 shift pattern, consisting of three twelve-hour days per workweek and one alternating eight-hour day every other week. Shifts may include evenings, weekends, daytime hours, and holidays.

The specific shift and schedule will be determined by the supervisor; however, the first one to two months of training will follow a 5-day-per-week, 40-hour-per-week schedule

Examples of shifts are included below:

• Day Shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, or 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Night Shifts: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 7:00 PM - 3:00 AM, 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM, or 8:00 PM - 4:00 AM

Shift Rotation

• Please note that shifts may be rotated every six months to ensure a fair distribution of day and night shifts across the team. This rotation allows team members to gain experience in various shifts and provides opportunities for a balanced work schedule over time.

Availability

• As our Mobile Crisis Care team provides critical support during community crises, it’s essential that members can respond promptly. To ensure timely response, team members must reside within a 30-minute commute to the Authority in heavy traffic. If selected, candidates who do not currently meet this requirement will be expected to relocate within four weeks of accepting the position.

This position is responsible for a variety of ongoing responsibilities, including, but are not limited to, the following:

Positions at the Psychiatric Technician I level may perform some of these duties and responsibilities in a learning capacity.

• Under the direction of clinical staff, provides medication management services to a caseload of clients in the office and in the field; ensures the proper acquisition and administration of medication.
• Provides education and training to clients, their families, and/or staff on the proper care and use of medications, including symptoms of, reactions to, or side effects of, specific medications; informs clients of the impact of abuse and/or misuse of medications.
• Conducts home/field visits to evaluate client’s physical environment and behavior such as anxiety, withdrawals, and behavioral health progression/regression.
• Takes and records measures of clients’ vital signs, physical condition, and behaviors; assists and observes clients self-dispense medication as prescribed by a psychiatrist and administers scheduled injections.
• Conducts medication checks on clients to assess their overall medication management capabilities; takes appropriate action if client poses danger with respect to the use or abuse of medication; observes, evaluates, records, and reports to professional staff changes in client’s condition.
• Motivates clients to develop self-reliance in daily living; encourages clients to participate in group and/or individual therapy/program activities.
