ABOUT MARY SILVEIRA CHILDREN'S CENTER

Mary Silveira Children's Center is located on campus at Mary Silveira Elementary School and serves the Miller Creek School District.  This is a year-round program, providing after-school care during the school year and transforming into a fun-filled summer camp during the summer months.  Work with an awesome team of instructors, support children and families, and make a lasting impact in our community. 

THE POSITION

The Childcare Division is seeking a full-time Child Care Instructor I/II to join our dynamic after school team, dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of young children.  We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual who is passionate about childhood development and creating a safe, supportive, and enriching environment where children can thrive.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Child Care Instructor I:

• Completion of a minimum of  six (6) units of Early Child Education (ECE) courses and currently working toward the completion of twelve (12) units of ECE courses.
• Six (6) months working with children.
• AA in recreation, education, or related field preferred

Child Care Instructor II:

• Completion of twelve (12) Early Childhood Education (ECE) courses.
• One (1) year working with children in a group setting.
• B.A. in recreation, education, or related field preferred.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Possession of a valid California Driver's License preferred

DEFINITION: Under general supervision, provide personal fitness training to clients requesting service; maintain personal schedule at the front desk; enforce all rules and regulations pertaining to the safety and well being of all patrons; keep fitness floor tidy and clean. Perform related work as required, may include light cleaning and janitorial.

THE POSITION

Tri-City Mental Health Authority is currently hiring to fill one full-time vacancy for the position of Clinical Therapist II within the Mobile Crisis Care Program (MCCP). 

Tri-City’s MCCP operates 24/7 to provide crucial support in mobile crises. As such, the schedule will involve a 3/12 shift pattern, consisting of three twelve-hour days per workweek and one alternating eight-hour day every other week. Shifts may include evenings, weekends, daytime hours, and holidays.

The specific shift and schedule will be determined by the supervisor; however, the first one to two months of training will follow a 5-day-per-week, 40-hour-per-week schedule

Examples of shifts are included below:

• Day Shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, or 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Night Shifts: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 7:00 PM - 3:00 AM, 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM, or 8:00 PM - 4:00 AM

Weekend and night shifts will be entitled to Shift Differential Pay of $2.50 per hour on weekdays (Monday through Friday) and $3.50 per hour on weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Holiday shifts will be entitled to Holiday Pay.

Tri-City is looking for individuals to serve as Clinical Therapist II on a full-time basis for the MCCP. The MCCP Clinical Therapist II will be part of a team that provides crisis intervention and stabilization, linkage and referral, consultation, and education within the scope of practice. The MCCP Clinical Therapist II will report to the Mobile Crisis Care Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Program Manager.

This position is responsible for a variety of ongoing responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Respond to client’s (Full-Service Partnership and Adult and Children’s Outpatient Programs and other specialty mental health services) crisis calls with or without law enforcement;
   

• Perform field-based and telephone emergency mental health evaluations and crisis stabilization in accordance with agency procedure;
   

• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services to individuals, groups, and families;
   

• Identify treatment needs and make appropriate referrals for necessary services;
   

• Assist clients and relatives with understanding behavioral health problems and their reaction to them;
   

• Work on a multidisciplinary team for crisis response.

The City of Belmont Parks & Recreation Department is recruiting for the position of Recreation Leaders for Summer 2026.
